Polls CNN runs are basically just linkbait. They're more about eliciting user response and a way to keep people from turning the channel for another 15 minutes than finding out what people really think.
"Is online porn dangerous?" -- this question measures perception, not reality. It's like asking "Is Scott Peterson guilty?" to millions of viewers. Their answers are meaningless because the people being asked don't know what the fuck they're talking about.
