Lets see - a quick and dirty history of mothers day
Started in england? to have a day where the servents could have a piece of cake called mothers cake
Then became the day to honor "mother Church"
then in the US called the day to celebrate peace (by the author of the Battle Hymn of the Republic)
Then a woman started a movement in the early 1900s to celebrate her own mother
Finally - we come to the present where its a day to make Walmart richer
Happy Mothers Day - bah humbug
