As a former new car manager - I would agree that it's a nice profit center. However, our store was in Rochester MN, most customers worked at either the Mayo Clinic or IBM. They simply didn't have time to wax or any other maintenaince. We would pick up their cars from their work just to change oil.
If you have the time to apply yourself Macquires is the way to go.
Though if you have kids and you have cloth interior, the high pressure scotch guard is definately worth it... should be like 200.00 but will last the life of the car. (the 10.00 spray cans you can buy don't penetrate the fabric far enough)
