Yes, just as Hosted Galleries are for TGP's, Hosted Free Sites are for Link Lists.
But that's just one of the ways to make money - some of us made money
before HFS's came around
Aside from the paysite links & banner ads, you can also list your own sites, feed your other lists/hubs & whatnot.
