Is that even still around? I had no problem with the organization but when you put Steve Easton in the mix, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. He was/is a douchbag that shot first and ignored questions later.
My last dealing with him was with a paysite I owned. He sent off his letters to my host (who laughed), all APIC members, me and my cc processor who shut down processing on me. The letters claimed I had content on my server that I didn't. When I wrote to ask what content he was talking about, he said I must have removed it. After that, when I tried to contact him, he wouldn't answer the phone or reply to emails. We then met at a Cybererotica convention and once I told him who I was you could see the fear in his eyes

Only then did he admit that he was wrong. Thankfully, none of his members would believe that I would ever steal content.
When he first started, he sent emails to anyone he could find that had a website threatening them. I was included and had to have my sole content provider let him know that I was legal.
The organization was/is a good idea. The self chosen Representative was/is unprofessional.
