I dont know of any of the major LLs that would not accept a free site using a mainstream exit link and a copyright link at the bottom - you must be submitting to some rather unknown LLs to run into that kind of BS - the only exit link rule I know of that has caused problems is when the link wont let you go back to the free site (hijacks) like warningpages used to do - and the copyright notice link at the bottom is just plain good SEO and should be on every page you ever build
