in this day and age, it amazes me at the lack of thought city planners and engineers put into road construction. Hey guys, Florida has a rainy season, we have irrigation canals next to most of the major highways, why not allow runoff to go somewhere rather than crowning road surfaces the wrong way so that during a heavy rain, which does happen in Florida, 2 lanes of major roads aren't closed.

We have an intersection that they just regraded in January to get rid of a 'standing water' problem where they dug a deeper swale so that it would hold more water. Yes, it delays the standing water problem at that intersection for about 15 minutes. Bravo, thanks for the $127k hit on our city taxes to pay people and not fix the problem.

Other than that, a deluge of work on my desk, so, I'm back to it.
