I'm very sory about what happened to you.

I have many friends in the Eastern Europe and I know how things are working there, so please allow me to express my oppinion on this one.

You have two possibilities:
1. Let go, change all the passwords and recover what you can, while you still can. This is the easy way.
2. Get a shitload of money, hire a _good_ attorney in Croatia and seek revenge. Ask him to go to the local police there and to fill a complaint about you being robbed by that cocksucker. As far as I can understand, he commited three fellonies (hope I wrote correct): hacked into a computer without the owner's consent, privacy violation and theft. It could be another wrong he did, accusing you of child porn, but don't know for sure if making false accusations is still a crime in Croatia (in some other Eastern European countries is still is).

You could also sue the hotel, as the motherfucker was their employee at that time. There is also the mass-media there you could call, they are more than happy to make public an ugly story.

But, to make all this, you do need a shitload of money and you don't have much chances to get your revenge.

If I'd be you, I'd chose the first option. And, seek an attorney there in your country. Don't waste your time seeking advice on the net, go straight to a real one.
