He is only 43, but has been bothered with knee pain for a few years now. He's going to begin some therapy on it tomorrow; and we'll just hope for the best. He always played Tennis, and Basketball hardcore. I guess it just caught up to him.

Yeah, they told me about 10 years ago(
same age), when I was having arthroscophy done for some bone chips, that I would have to have a knee replacement in the next 3-5 years. Those high-speed 180 degree turns, and having the cleats stick would blow out my knees about everyother game playing soccer and football.
They don't tell you about that(
future problems) when you are playing, and mostly the coaches were saying to just walk it off.
