Most likely the problem with your high beams is the multi function (turn signal) switch or the high beam relay. The problem with your AC/Defrost is vacuum related. I think your truck is equiped with an electric vacuum pump located near the battery on the passenger side.

Yep, I was told that when I dropped my truck off. The problem with some of it was when they installed my plow, that I no longer have, they kind of did their own wiring for the lights. The AC is only a pain in the ass during the summer months. I can live with it during the winter. But, while they are fixing it, they might as well fix that too.
