The videos sort of stuttered and didn't play for me. (IE7)
Do you have Windows Movie Maker?
If you do, you could run them through there quickly and then save them as .wmv files. It's very simple to use for basic editing/splitting etc.
I use it for movie freesites after I had some trouble with video lengths, and I've had no problems since.
