Sometimes cheap bandwidth is good, as in "damn, that was cheap this month!"... othertimes cheap bandwidth is because your servers are connected to the net via a piece of wet noodle or something, and no matter how hard you hit the server, you can't seem to get more than about 300k a second. NOW THAT IS CHEAP BANDWIDTH!

It is always a good thing to find out from a host where they get THEIR connection from, and how much they claim to have. It is also important to find out how many servers they host for - then you can divide one number into the other and see how much bandwidth you are really likely to be getting. 100 servers on a T1 doesn't mean you are getting "100 mb net connection"... it just means your server will have a 100mb card in it... realistically you would be getting dialup speed connections... not real useful, ya know?

My host is in my sig. Go figure. Cleo's host is good too, from what I can tell ;-)
