Good content takes time to create. In my mind some one creating tons of content each day, (ping per post) is likely a spammer. Not perfect, but what else is there to go by?

Pingoat, one of the larger pinging services does have some type of algo that catchs spam blogs. Don't know how they do it and I know it's not 100% since it used to catch one of my sites that wasn't even adult and had no advertising on it but it's there and even made an API available for other service to use their blacklist.
They've lightened up on things a little bit and as long as your not using an auto-pinger you can get your blogs pinged even if it is spam.
