This disturbs me a bit. The reason is that I use TTT to do traffic trades on my TGP and part of TTT is ttt-in.php which sets the cookie on the end users browser using a single line of js.

I can somewhat understand the rationale for killing blink. The trend in doctypes starting with XHTML 1.0 has been to move formatting tags out of the doctype completely and into CSS. The reason is to seperate the data from the formatting (good luck in *HTML since they've been comingled from the start). Maybe this is MS' move to force the process along.

This is somewhat aking to FF having made somewhat of a focus to do away with obsolete js compatibility by forcing usage of modern element addressing schema.
