Your wife wasn't the only one annoyed. You should check out the "24" board. You have to be a hard core fan to sign up to any television show board and it seems that not a lot of those people were thrilled by the inconstancies. And then you have the drudgereport giving out a spoiler for tonight (kind of)
As if you couldn't figure out what was going to happen tonight from the kid with the "package" to the previews.
My wife hates the show so I made a deal with her about 5 months ago which included her having to watch 24 with me. I tried to pretend that I was loving it but, I just had to say at the end, "that just sucked". And I even let her off the hook.
