One more thing, don't depend on free stuff, it's a figment of the collective imagination in this biz. Free host, Free content, etc. There is always a catch coz nobody works for free.
Be as independent as possible, spend a buck when you need to, and diversify, never depend on any one area of the biz but familiarise yourself with as many as you can.
