In the real world nobody would be stupid enough to open a burger joint called McDanolds. But online it's a different story because it's fast and easy to set yourself up as whatever you like. There is a degree of anonymity on the net which brings about the false belief that you can do anything you like and get away with slapped wrists and maybe a nasty email from your ISP.
The consequences become less virtual when you find yourself in court. Or when some uberhacker makes your hosting experience a living nightmare.
It's too late to say "sorry" then.
