You didn't say what you will be using it for.
For doing porn shoots we use a Nikon D70 since we need a totally manual camera with changeable lenses and the ability to plugin studio strobes.
For fun pics I use the Casio EX-S500 since I want something that carries easy in my purse and also fits in my jean's pocket. The quality is amazing for such a small camera.
These days I mostly use my cell phone's, Sony Ericsson K750i, camera for doing blog pics. As long as the light is good the pics are even better then they need to be.
