Right now, I've got a lot of equipment, and I'm just figuring out how to use it all, researching this side of the industry, weighing up the pros and cons of various scripts to use, and using my content simply for my own submissions.
It's working quite well. For example, I can produce 3/4 usable sets in a 1 hour shoot, which - posted on just a few high-traffic sites - will generate $1k + in signups. And this is pure profit. Hosting costs me nothing (for my submission domains, at least), and I get my content for free. Not sure what you call them in the U.S, but I own a few terrace houses; small, narrow things. I was approached by a couple of tennants, when they found out what I do, to do some modelling in exchange for the rent.
