Sorry if I sound angry, but that's another pet-peeve of mine - like it's some new brilliant marketing idea to put "free" in front of other words to make them sound more appealing.
Think of it this way, if you call them Free Hosted Galleries, then you'd have to also use "Free Hosted Free Sites"
