I don't know for sure but I don't think you need an account, I've had a couple of sites accepted in the last month or so and I don't have an account. But I don't submit very often and I've been submitting since '98 or so, long before a formula for free sites was invented, so maybe she just likes me because I always remember to brush my teeth and use my own stuff
