Morning.. rather afternoon..
Today Parole and Probation showed up 2 hours late to install my now released pal into house arrest until his court date on 6/7/07. Since Wednesday he has been awaiting release. 1st they had him listed as an alien when clearly he is human tho being male he must be from Mars. Once that was cleared up, they had to await transport.
Maybe from the ice planet Hoth because that was since Friday morning. Anyway as the 2 P-n-P officers brought him into the house one of them said.. that he (our friend) must get a job because he (the officer) doesn't want to be paying uncle sam for him.. Of course I opened my big mouth and said.. well i guess you'd better get another job cuz i'm tired of paying uncle sam for YOU. needless to say he apologized to my friend for assuming that a) he was unemployed b) assuming he was on welfare c) assuming he doesn't pay taxes.
Ok now that I've calmed down.. nothing much else happening today.. except picking up the laundry and getting ready for the Sopranos.
