If you don't like the members area and so far you're 1 for 7 on monthly conversions then don't ptomote them. Only 7 sales is not really a good indicator honestly, but if you don't like the members area on top of that, there are a thousand sites out there to promote.
FYI, most paysites average 1 for 3 or 1 for 4 on trial to monthly so that's why 7 sales isn't enough of an indicator usually.
