Speaking again of Healthcare in the US. I just got back from the pharmacy and instead of having to pay my $10 copay, I had to pay $124. I called my insurance company and was told that they paid for most of the cost but, I hit the $300/year maximum. Something I didn't even know I had. I just finished reading my insurance policy closely and there it was. When I bought the insurance I was asked if I was taking any medication and at the time I wasn't. The sales person told me that this policy would be perfect for me. So, my mistake I guess. Not really the point.

The point is, I totaled up what all my meds would cost/month and it came to about $300. I just went to Canadadrugs.com and ordered 3 months of the same medication for $218. A difference of $682 over a 3 month timeframe. Being a Disabled Veteran I will take this next 4 months to get all medication from now on for free. But, no wonder older people go without food to pay for medication.
