This wasn't a major loss to me... I had really only had a small go at promoting them, as the numbers make clear. And I didn't realise it was $50 a join. Disappointed though, I thought this was a good program.
I quite like revshare programs, provided you know what's inside the site. In this case, I don't... and if I consider that both my signups sent were probably chargebacks, it doesn't sound encouraging.
In terms of trying to recover in the face of a bad business decision... I don't mind if a program has to change to stay in business. Better they do that and tell me up front than lie or retroactively remove signups or not pay me at all (which has happened to me in the past)
