I only make freesites, but this is what I do on galleries in freesites.

Meta Tags: I use meta tags for keywords, description, adult content rating, robots index/follow

Google Analytics: No (won't get listed if I do)
Sitemeter: No (won't get listed if I do)

I use server stats. They're the fastest, most secure and most reliable way to get most of the information I need.
