Walrus I know your going to have a good laugh over this and please don't say I told you so.
These ass bites can not be as stupid as they pretend to be and they keep deleting my posts on their board so I'll post the PM's that have been going on between us since last night here.

enjoy

Wrong I have been waiting since Saturday for Dawzz to fix the bugs in the phpld news script so that I have search engine friendly URL's, my pateince is running thin. Look at all the unanswered posts in the forum that is terrible customer support.
Have you no pride.
Dawzz admitted to me today that it's a bug in the script. Selling software that doesn't do what you claim it will do is called fraud where I come from

You need to cheer up if you want us to keep helping you. We haven't asked you for a cent, and you have already received support from Dawzz (rebuilding the category cache). He is going to be doing more today when he returns from a meeting. We are on it now.
Thanks,
David

I am going to give a breakdown of what was done.
The category on details page as a case of missing code in the detail.tpl .
I have downloaded the latest zip and the code is there so I can only assume it overlooked in your release(?) or removed when removing the escape
here is what is is supposed to be:
<td class="smallDesc" align="left"><a href="{$CATEGORY_URL

trim}" title="{$CATEGORY_TITLE

trim}">{$CACHE_TITLE

trim}</a></td>
here is what it was
<td class="smallDesc" align="left"><a href="{$CATEGORY_URL|trim}" title="{$CATEGORY_TITLE|trim}"></a></td>
In regards to seo urls the category seo urls were working as soon as I rebuilt the cache.
The feed detail page (not post details page) was never working as there was never any seo code for it, Not sure if it was intended to work like that or not. However, that being the case and the fact you obviously expected it work like that I have created the code as well as having it use the feed title in the url. So it looks like this:
http://wegoweb.com/feed/Amateur-Coup...lery-2-35.html
Let me know if this is acceptable to you.

I don't understand why you would not think Search Engine Optimization on the post detail link was not as important as on the feed detail link.
Take a look at
http://www.rssnobrainer.com I had that script custom coded and asked for all links to be search engine friendly.
I'll gladly pay you a reasonable fee to upgrade the copy of Newstopica I have running to phpLD News to compensate you for some of your time, but I feel David should pay you to write the code so that all links are search engine friendly because that should have been done before the product was released. It just doesn't make sense to have some links search engine friendly and some not.
