You don't have to live in europe in order to be paid in europe.
I prefer being paid in euros, because here, where I live (Poland) one dollar equals 2,48 PLN (zloty) now. A year ago it was 3,05 PLN. Euro is now 3,68 PLN.
As you can see it just doesn't pay for me to be paid in dollars

Yes - paid.
I travel to Europe a lot to see the kids so having a few Euros in my account there would be great. I know how weak the dollar is - my $1800 in child support goes to Germany and is so devalued that my kids get almost nothing of it...... Arrrgggg
But on the other hand, my main-stream business exports to Europe are up a bunch.
