I've got a couple of questions abt. the number of banners on a given page in free sites and alt. tags/mouseovers.

1. Is it OK to have say two banners on a page with link to sponsor codes inside the banner as well as behind advertising script above and below the banner. That's 3 sponsor links per banner.

2. Is it also OK to place alt text on a banner that promotes the given sponsor when someone moves their cursor over the banner. OR is this considered a no no.

I'm still a little confused on these issues.
