Do you think adding tags with this is workable?

I tried removing the line, but still won't validate. Without the line it complains about not having a doctype..

Hey hashbury, thanks for the props. Yeah, this is my other, other, other project. I* do like the blogging, though. Hopefully I can do this and free/avs sites. Wish there were more hours in a day..
