After playing with it and using it for the last 24 hours I'm surprised at how much better it is then I thought it would be.

this headphone adaptor so that I could use my favorite earbuds.
Surfing at at home is just as fast as my laptop and surfing this morning at IHOP using ATT's EDGE was not nearly as slow as I thought it would be.
Couple of minor annoyances that probably will be taken care of after a few software updates like no copy and paste, no MMS, notes on the phone don't sync with notes in Mail.app, and a few others.
In February Apple will be releasing developer kits to developers so I'm guessing we will be seeing some useful applications next year for it. I haven't tried it but I read that if you go to google it will detect that you are using an iPhone and take you to a page with Mobile Google Apps.
Not really worried about the lack of not being able to interchange batteries in in since I never did with my last few cell phones and my car already has an iPod charger in it that will also charge my iPhone but
this looks interesting for a long outing.
