So I guess I have one of the iphones that has a volume problem. I just thought...ehh, it's not really that loud. But I listened to another one yesterday and it is easily twice as loud as mine. Apple claims they know nothing about the problem but if you search "iphone volume" you will see it's not just me. And their answer for this...take the headset plug and plug it in a pull it out about 15 times.
Oh yeah, I upgraded on the 15th and it made no difference.
Anyway, is there a way to do this without using a mac?
