More people die each year from illnesses due directly to lifelong obesity than Anorexia and Bulimia, but Anorexia and Bulimia kill much swifter. Anorexia and Bulimia are extremely complex illnesses and very difficult to cure. It takes more than diet and exercise. Anorexics control their eating because they believe that they are heavy. Obesity is not the inverse. Heavy people are not eating because they (wrongly) think they are too thin.
There are many cases of obesity which are due to mental and physical illnesses, but generally it's just because we like to indulge. There are millions of heavy people who are doing just fine. There isn't a single Anorexic or Bulimic who isn't a very ill person.
Like Mateusz, I don't think it's a very good idea to ignore someone's mental illness and qualify their delusion by telling them that their withering body is sexy. Though I am not assuming that all those models are Anorexic. They may be naturally skeletal and heinous.
