They are not that rare really -- and when they appear it makes everything else seem pointless. I just ran some numbers as an example -- in a given period for one of my sponsors where I can see the user names. The whale during that period spent $19K while in the same period *all other users added together* came to $15K.
Personally I don't understand it -- where do these guys get the money? Are they on company expenses or does Bill Gates have a webcam habit or something???
The mind boggles.
