Yep, I agree that having Obama taken out of the race (whether by Hillary or a sniper) would be very bad for the Democrats. I think it would be bad for the excitement and interest-level in politics in general too. It'd be very easy for people to get disinterested in the whole process again. Which is what some of the Powers That Be really would prefer, and why I mentioned 'sniper' as a reference to what some would like to see happen.

I look at it like having a sparing partner. You're going to get hit in your weak spots but that's just to get you ready for the real fight. Better to learn about a weak spot that way than being surprised by a haymaker in the title bout.

I'm looking forward to Wednesday too.
