Update - Vicky's out of surgery. She had a tear in her colon & they had to remove it. There was also an infection that they have to keep an eye on for the next few days, which means they didn't close her up.
Oddly enough, this is better than what they thought it was (tear in the stomach) as she should be home in about 2 weeks (fingers crossed)
The really bad aspect of all of this is that the surgery pretty much shits on the NYC thing
