Wow Stu... I think your story of the young women is rather disturbing. It's that kind of anecdotal evidence that gets feminists up in arms about porn... it's like the guys are copying what they see in porn and the girls are just going along with it.
I am personally uncomfortable with the whole rough sex thing - especially as it seems to always be the guy beating up the girl, there's never a level playing field. BDSM and power play I love, it's structured, it's sexy, but rough sex... I don't get it. And once again, I would think that that kind of sex would be a minority kind of fetish, but porn has pushed it into the mainstream.
All my personal opinion of course. I know there are women who enjoy it and if its safe sane and consensual, fine.
