Hi Johnny R.
I'm probably in the same boat as you. I also have Dreamhost, and they've been pretty good to me too. I'm really not looking to replace Dreamhost. At $10 a month, I can afford both DH and Webair.
There are a few things I don't like about Dreamhost, and I'm hoping they will be better on Webair.
There have been two (maybe three) instances where DH has choked on a Hun or Worldsex listing. Once they shut down the domain entirely. The other time they throttled the traffic to the point where you couldn't bring up any pages. Both times, I contacted customer service, they quickly moved me to a new server and there were no more problems. In the end, I lost at least 3-4 hours each time, and that could be a couple sales. But there have been many Hun/WS listings that ran smoothly with no problem at all.
Dreamhost customer service is not always efficient. Sometimes they answer in an hour or two, and sometimes it's 24 hours or more (even when there's no major outages). I'd hate to have a real problem, and wait 24 hours for them to answer the first email.
I have a few blogs on DH that I wish were faster. I don't know if that's my problem or the DH MySQL databases. Also, some scripts don't work well with Dreamhost. They often use some funky homebrew stuff to run the servers. So it'll be nice to try them on another host.
Despite those few problems, I generally love DH. Easy to use, lots of toys, tons of bandwidth. I don't lose any sleep worrying some foreign message board is going to hotlink my content and I'll wake up with $100 in overage charges (had that happen with my first host years ago).
So I'm looking forward to playing around with Webair and seeing how they stack up against DH.
