Some of my pet peeves.
1. Cute scripts. Please just remove ALL javascript, activeX, flash and other controls that you might be using. I understand that photographers are artist and like these things but they slow down the site, were probably implemented wrong and I'm looking to be impressed by the inventory not the site design.
2. If you want me to make a purchase of 100+ items then let me see that many. Many sites will only show 10 units of inventory on a page but have discounts for 100 units. You know how much time I waste waiting for "Next" to load? I know of at least one site that I've tried for years to buy 100+ units but I always loose patience after a few hours.
3. I'd like to see real samples. Don't show me a sample that's 650 pixels on the long side and tell me that it's really 3,000 pixels big. You wouldn't buy a car if the dealer would only let you see a Match Box.
4. FTP and ZIP. HTML is not a way to download lots of content.
5. Please show a sample of the model's face. Show a sample of the figure and the interesting parts too (that includes boobs and snatch).
6. If I like one set involving a model my surfers will probably like more of her. Think about it.
7. If I buy the content I'll probably use it and copy it. There's one well known content producer that only allows you to make one copy of the material. I keep a copy on my hard drives, then I make a backup and then I can't legally upload the content to a server. If I wanted to use it on two servers I'd have to delete it from my own hard drives.
8. GOOD 2257 docs. I won't even start talking about my issues but if the docs don't match the models I want my money back.
Those are just a few that I've learned in the past 7 or 8 years. You also caught me in a bad mood for unrelated issues so if I sound uptight it's not your thread.
