I was stunned to hear it. .and had just looked at a picture of him that I took while he was at the NAB trade show last year. He was extremely nice person and signed his book, Big Russ and Me, for us.
One of the last few who might truly have been a real NEWS person reporting the facts, asking the probing questions and above partisan politics.
Sad.
