The 3rd photo in that post is missing your watermark and it has mostly been cropped out of the 4th photo. Like it or not, the reality is that people will redistribute your content without your permission. Adding your watermark to every photo ensures that potential buyers who come in contact with such content have a way to find the path back to your door.

Perhaps, I'm missing something, but how would blocking pictures with .htaccess help shield someone's identity, when there are direct links to galleries with images of that person on it?
