Maybe Google bought him and/or his project before it went live.
They are buying everything that has potential.Three years ago they bought small Voip company located in Florida that supposed to be next Skype.It turns out that over 800 million $ were spend for nothing.And my 5000 shares of this company dropped down to zero right after Google take over.
