Morning er evening from beautiful downtown HOTlanta.
Got in about 9pm last night..with 3 hours to spare on my oldest son's 30th BDay. I totally forgot what a party town the A-T-L really is.
Spent most of the morning relearning how to sleep horizontal and without movement. Going to see the old homestead in 'Bama in the A.M., have lunch with my lifelong friend and attorney and then back to ATL until Tuesday when we head to DC.
If you ever decide to take a train for more than one day..make sure you bring enough "entertainment" stuff with you before you leave. It's a great time but we probably wouldn't have drawn the crowd we did between San Antonio and NOLA if we didn't have Season 2 of "The Shield" playing on the laptop. *note to self -- stop at Circuit City and buy seasons 3/4/5 before leaving*..
