plateman - if you're talking about the price to get into Inktomi - best I can tell it doesnt help in any way - Ive paid for many URLs through there including the LL, as well as many LLs have paid the 600 for inclusion in the Yahoo directory - they all still got dropped. I'm waiting for an answer from the Yahoo SE rep to see if it's a problem on their end or if it's an overall "waiting for a re-indexing" problem. That price will change BTW on Apr 15th when Yahoo starts their own "Yahoo web search inclusion program" seperate from their directory inclusion. That will also be the date when the Inktomi inclusions will no longer be included as part of the Yahoo search
