Jim, the doors are supposed to have a thick plastic sheet layer stuck over the interior opening portions of the inner door panel to protect speakers, door/window switches and so forth from moisture so you "should" be safe as far as getting it rustproofed. (A warranty of some sort to protect against anything unexpected like a tear in that plastic where the spray gets in might be a good thing though
)
