I have to take exception to this on at least two levels.
One is that many of us here are actually capable of being involved with what we do without losing the ability to step back and see things from a wider perspective. Demonstrating that you think the way you do about a group of people here who you really don't know indicates there may be some prejudice, bigotry, and a clinging to groundless fears that haven't been worked through well-enough yet.
(Hint: Anytime you find yourself saying "you people" it's a good idea to examine your premises.)
The second reason I take exception to your comment is that unlike those who may be involved in something mostly due to their own fascination with the subject matter, the majority of active board members here are involved in what we do mostly as a business.
We work hard to make a success from our efforts, and that means spending a lot of time thinking about the general population and what 'it' thinks. Of course we consider how best to convince a surfer to become a buyer, but if you spent some time reading the board, you'd know that we often consider and discuss/debate things like public opinion, political environment, and the legalities and ethics of various parts of the adult business.
Do yourself a favor and stop wasting time insulting the regular audience and membership of this board. Even if this is just a troll, it's probably doing you and your own community more harm than you could possibly want. If you really want to discuss something with us, please figure out what it is you want to say and how to say it without trying to create a straw man out of our actual positions and thoughts on these matters.
