Just in case anyone thinks we are ganging up on a poor old woman for no reason, and to put a more positive spin on this thread, let's look at her history as a classic lesson in how NOT to be accepted and linked.

Old hand, first timer, wanna be - it doesn't really matter. When you come in here and ask for help you get it (especially when you can form your question so that all can figure out what you are asking). I have seen so many get honest help and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism on their sites, as well as being granted trusted submitter status. Most respect the gift of knowledge and the networking and become solid, contributing members of this community.

Others, though, are simply here to either stir the shit, or leech. We all make mistakes, yes, but we generally correct them after they are pointed out, thank the messenger and go on with it. I do not know where you are, who taught you manners, or where you learned to build sites, but, you broke a cardinal rule Dollpix, and then copped a snotty, sarcastic attitude.

Those rules are there for a reason, and if you choose to break them (or allow/direct your underlings), there is a penalty. To have an account with Cleo is priceless and given to only a few webmasters. You stole her trust when you added counters to your sites after you submitted them. Even if every site on your recip table allows it, at least one does not and you need to respect those terms. You also used link list names in your meta tags - another huge no-no.

Newbies -- take note of this. Had it been with just one site, it might have been forgiven depending on who caught it. But, when you go behind a link list owner's back and degrade your site, you can expect to be treated this way. People are angry because she screwed them over. Treat the link lists the way you want to be treated, and you will be rewarded. If you want to do something on a site, ASK first, or post here in a thread. Don't just do it, especially if it is clearly in violation of ANY site's rules.

Dollpix, I am really sorry to see things end this way for you. You had a very golden opportunity given to you and you trampled it. I seriously doubt you will have any quality link list accepting you now or anytime soon. Thanks for the laughs, and we do sincerely wish you all the best -- elsewhere.
