Oh my god!
So we headed down to my sisters, had lunch and then left for a "2 and a half hour trip" to Big Bear that ended up taking about 7 hours. At the bottom of the mountain it was gridlocked...
all the way up the mountain!
It took us
4 hours to travel 25 miles! Most of that traffic was just from the massive mount of people, not because of weather conditions. Then we had some ice issues with vehicles which are not meant for this weather (not mine). It was a horrible night.
Got up this morning and the kids got to play in the snow and I got to install snow chains.

The wife went down a hill on a sled with my youngest and ended up with a face full of fence.
The trip down of the mountain better be a lot better than the trip up it.
My connection here sucks so I'm still treating this as a vacation and doing no work but the occasional forum browsing.
Oh, and there's no TV so I'm missing all the games...
