I saw that and wasn't sure if this was something new...I didn't see any other tube sites doing it.

That sounds like a job for Greenie or someone else that has the ear, or other body parts for that matter
, of some of the content owners. If folks start suggesting that to the pay-site operators/content owners maybe they'll do just that.
