This career changing school talk has me thinking as well. I started my second career (this one) when I was 35 after a year in some now defunct business school learning to be a Lan-Wan office geek. I actually gave up on the lan-wan office geek future six months before I graduated and got into porn.
But now I'm thinking, hey, I'm 47, I love this biz, but I really don't know what I'm doing technically. I might just take a few courses to give myself a thorough grasp of graphics, php, css, scripts, and more about the server end of things.
I know I could learn all of that stuff online through tutorials and such, but I also know that the only way I'm going to do it is if I have to be in a classroom at a certain time on certain days, otherwise I'll find something else to do.
